Whats your thoughts on things lately?

Hello, I'm brand new here...I've been trying to register for a couple of weeks but was too technically inept to realise that I couldn't do it because I hadn't unblocked the cookies! Feel a bit scared really, like I'm invading your space or something!

I just wanted to say that I agree with a lot of things that have been said here lately regarding the changes and how there is a lack of excitement. I'm disheartened with the F/C changes, though I haven't got any particular gripe with them personally. I did let it spoil my enjoyment until recently, but when I first saw the Darkness video I remembered what was most important to me, and that was the music and how it gets under my skin.

I agree that Laurie is a legend, as she and I discussed the issue of posting the link to the vid on the Sony board and there was no problem. So far, we've had 160+ hits to the website from countries all over the world, so I think it shows that the fans themselves aren't interested in the red tape, just the chance to see or hear the music. I think those that make a big deal of illegal distribution forget that not only does it keep the fans in touch who wouldn't otherwise get a chance, but it helps to get the music out there, which is something that seems to be failing by normal channels.
